Pastorally serving the leadership
and residents of El Dorado County.

Mission

The men and women who lead El Dorado County face unique challenges and pressures.

Their job is often thankless and lonely and the cost for these leaders is high.

As the Pastor to El Dorado County, Chris Scott has one mission: to serve and care for the leaders and people of El Dorado County. Chris’s ministry is to sharpen the hearts and faith of the leaders through pastoral shepherding, care, and to be a light for Christ in the county.

While the Pastor to El Dorado County emphasizes leadership care, Chris seeks to serve all those who call El Dorado County home and help anyone grow their connection with Jesus.

The Called

Meet Chris Scott

Hello, I am Chris Scott. I live in El Dorado County with my wife and two daughters. In 2018, God called me to leave my engineering career and embark on the adventure of shepherding and loving God’s sons and daughters. I graduated with a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary in 2024. I have been shepherding men and women back to God for close to a decade. I love being outdoors, going on adventures with his bride and daughters, turning wrenches, watching a good documentary, and chasing after the hearts of God’s people.

This vital mission cannot survive without other like-hearted men and women.

If you want to help Chris care for the people of El Dorado County – to love, encourage, and “sharpen” our leaders – we invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a partner in this mission.

Prayer is of utmost importance to this ministry. It can only be successful through God’s involvement and guidance. Please consider praying for this ministry, Chris, and his family.

This mission also needs people who want to partner through financial support.
You can do so at the Donorbox portal below. Chris’s work as the Pastor to El Dorado County is a non-profit ministry endeavor, and your support is tax-deductible. You will be given an annual support receipt to use as part of your tax preparation.
